Animal Transport Volunteers

Since our program is available throughout the province, we often have to move animals from one place to another. If you are available to help with animal transport, we would love to hear from you!

What does this role entail?

We have a list of volunteers who are able to transport animals short and long distances. Pick-ups are from veterinary clinics, animal shelters, and foster homes, and drop offs are to similar locations.

We send out requests for transport on a weekly basis, and our hope is that you could do one or two trips per month. Please note: animal transport volunteers do not engage directly with human survivors / clients.

To become a transport volunteer, we will need a Reference Letter from your most recent veterinarian, and we also require a criminal background check.

To start the volunteer process, please fill out the Application below!
